Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish was well-known for her role in movies including Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). In the latter film, Cornish received her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. She had a father named Jack Gilpin star of such films like Adventureland (2009) as well as her mother is Ann McDonough of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) as well as various other movies. Betty Gilpin's parents remained supportive and encouraged her to pursue a career as an actor. When it came time for her to go to college, she chose Fordham College where she learned to develop her skills. After graduating, Gilpin started acting in Off-Broadway plays and auditioned for television and film roles. Gilpin was offered a small part in Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). The actress also appeared in an NBC character in Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and. Gilpin did not stop nabbing TV guest roles over several years before she scored her first break in 2013 with the role of a regular on Nurse Jackie. As the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes in the show until Nurse Jackie concluded its run in June of 2015. Gilpin was also a part of the crime thriller True Story (2015).
