Sofia Vergara
Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara is a Colombian actress who was raised and born in Barranquilla. Her mother, Margarita Vergara davila de Vergara is a homemaker. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo is her father. He raises cattle for the meat business. She is the youngest of five sisters. She attended a private, bilingual Spanish/English high school. After that, she went to pre-dental school. But, Sofia was discovered by photographer at the beach. This was the catalyst for a number of job opportunities as a model and a TV host. The runway model was already in her prime aged 23. From 1995 until 1998, she co-hosted a travel show, Fuera de serie (1995) that gave her recognition to America. United States. Her debut film appearance was on the crime-comedy Big Trouble (2002). Her breakout role was Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the American television show Modern Family (2009). In this role, she received four Emmy nominations between 2010 and 2013. She was awarded Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. Sofia lives in Los Angeles with her son Manolo.
